General Guidance:

• Staff are screened at the beginning of every shift. Temperature checks are done at the beginning and the end of each shift.
• Patients/Customers are provided standard surgical mask during transport.
• All IvaCare NEMT Drivers are provided with N95 Mask and a Face shield.
• Mandatory weekly COVID-19 testing for all staff.
• Gloves used by drivers in direct patient contact.
• Frequent hand wash with soap/water and use of liquid hand sanitizers.
• Mandatory time off for any employee having signs/symptoms of COVID-19.

Ambulette Decontamination:

• Visibly soiled surfaces are decontaminated using a disinfectant according to directions on the label after each transport.
• All potentially contaminated and highly touched surfaces are properly disinfected after each transport.
• Disinfecting the driver compartment: To include steering wheel, vehicle controls and knobs, and door handles with disinfectant according to directions on the label as needed. In particular, these surfaces are disinfected at least several times each day.
